Help System |
This is a tool to help you forecast anticipated revenue for upcoming potential
attractions. Here’s how it works:
• Set a date range (the default is the current month) for when your attraction
will take place.
• Turn off any days that the attraction will be unavailable (for example, if you
are closed Wednesdays).
• Select the venue for the attraction. The computer will fetch the capacity for
fixed capacity venues. For unlimited GA venues, you will have to enter a
capacity number that is your best guess for maximum attendance.
• Enter the number of showings per day. The computer will calculate the total
available “seats” for the attraction run.
• Select the most common ticket type expected, and change the price if
necessary.
The forecaster will then project revenues for every 5% of fill for the venue.
This will be a helpful tool when booking talent or negotiating with film
distributors.
