Other POS Station Settings

You can select a background image for your POS Standby screen. Depending upon your station hardware and operating system, this background is also visible behind the "transparent glass" of many of the POS Module's forms. Click the preview image to select your background, or the CLEAR BACKGROUND button to remove it. In the example above, no image has been selected.

If you want the POS Station to prompt operators to get the POSTAL CODE of patrons purchasing anonymously, click the large POSTAL CODE button. In the example above, the POS Module WILL NOT prompt operators to collect the customer's postal code.

You can also define the default "order type" processed by this station. For example, if this station were at a box office window, then IN PERSON would be a logical order default. If the station is part of a call center, then PHONE ORDER would make more sense. In the example above IN PERSON has been selected.
