New Package Wizard

Ticket packages are complex and hairy constructions. Trak Pro has a New Package Wizard to do a lot of the "heavy lifting for you". From any PACKAGE SEARCH screen, when you select NEW PACKAGE, the following window will appear:

You will have two choices:

■ Creating a NEW Package
■ Copying an EXISTING Package

Copying a package is simple, and only requires one step. Therefore, we will detail what it takes to create a NEW package from scratch. Click the NEXT button:

Here we are giving the package its NAME, button colors, sort order, description, on sale date and ticket limit. In this example, San Angelo is going to offer an ALL SPORTS package of their popular FRIDAY games, when all the students and alumni show up.

Since there is a regular pattern to this package that the computer can replicate for you, setting this up is easy! Click the SELECT ATTRACTIONS button, and from the Attraction Search screen, click the SELECT ALL ATTRACTIONS. Click the option to include the FIRST FRIDAY as shown above. Click NEXT:

Add the ticket types and prices using the drop down list and price entry fields. Click the ADD TICKET TYPE button and repeat as needed. If you have already made a button image for this Package, you can specify the image file at this time. If you have not, or you are not going to be using an image, just take the default. Click NEXT:

The wizard will have enough information at this point to build your package. Click FINISH to create the package. If you want to include any Sales Assemblies with the package, or if there are dates that do not fit a regular pattern such as ALL FRIDAYS, you will have to edit the Package Record manually.
