Before ANY functions of ANY Trak Pro Module can be accessed, the user MUST log in with proper POS Operator credentials. The login screen is shown below:
Starting with version 3, Trak Pro operators now have 2 options for login. They can continue to use their LEGACY Operator ID and PIN number assigned from previous versions, or...
Operators can log in with User Defined Login ID's and Passwords, as shown above.
In order to comply with Credit Card Processing security requirements, your administrator may have enabled FORCED password rotation. The number of days in the rotation interval is set by your administrator. In the example below, the operator has not changed their password for more than 30 days, and is now being forced to do so when they log in. A message like this will be displayed:
The operator will be prompted for a NEW password, which CANNOT be like the current or previous passwords.
Once logged in, the module will display only those features allowed by Product Licensing and Operator Security privileges.
