POS Operator Record

Your Point of Sale Clerks (or Operators, as we refer to them) must each be identified to the system. Each will be assigned a 4 digit identification number, and the ADMIN will assign a 4 digit PIN number for login. Only the ADMIN Account (ID 1000) is able to define additional POS Operators. If you are logged in with any other account ID, this feature will be disabled. On the first panel of the POS Operator Record screen, we see the pertinent Identification information such as First and Last Name. Each Operator can be assigned a LOGIN USER NAME and PASSWORD for access to any of the Trak Pro system modules. You can also place a limit on the single transaction amount for the operator. Enter a zero if you do not want this operator to have a transaction total limit. There are also 100 individual operation privileges that can be turned on or off at the ADMIN’s discretion. To help manage operator privileges, the ADMIN can create any number of OPERATOR GROUPS. In the example above, the operator SANDY belongs to the group called CASHIERS.

On the second panel of the POS Operator Record screen, you can set any or all of the first 50 privileges available for this operator. The assignments are spelled out in plain language, so they are fairly self explanatory. A list follows these illustrations. Note that SOME of the operator's privileges may be granted directly by the ADMIN, while others might be granted due to being a member of an operator group. Those privileges granted directly will be shown as checks in check boxes, while privileges coming from the group will be shown as little green squares.

On the third panel of the POS Operator Record screen, you can set any or all of the next 50 privileges available for this operator.

Here is a listing of the 100 operation privileges that can be assigned to each operator: As of this writing, several of these privileges have not yet been assigned to system operations. They are listed as Unassigned.

6	Credit Card Interface Direct The operator is allowed to invoke the Credit Card Interface via the Manager Functions while logged into the POS Module
7	Clear Pending Seats The operator is allowed to Clear Pending Seat Selections via the Manager Functions while logged into the POS Module
8	House Account Sales The operator is allowed to accept House Account Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
9	Accept Checks The operator is allowed to accept Check Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
10	Accept Credit Cards The operator is allowed to accept Credit Card Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
11	Accept Gift Certificates The operator is allowed to accept Gift Certificate and Gift Card Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
12	Sell Alcohol and Tobacco The operator is allowed to See POS Categories marked as “RESTRICTED” while logged into the POS Module
13	See Restricted Attractions The operator is allowed to See Attractions marked as “RESTRICTED” while logged into the POS Module
14	Sell Gift Certificates The operator is allowed to sell Gift Certificates and Gift Cards while logged into the POS Module
15	Accept Foreign Currency The operator is allowed to accept Foreign Currency Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
16	Accept Other Payments The operator is allowed to accept “Other” Tender for transactions while logged into the POS Module
17	Reprint Tickets from Customer Record The operator is allowed to reprint tickets while viewing a customer record screen
18	Exchange Tickets The operator is allowed to exchange tickets while viewing a customer record screen

20	ADMIN The operator is allowed to log into the ADMIN Module
21	MINI ADMIN The operator is allowed to log into the MINI-ADMIN Module
22	INVENTORY The operator is allowed to log into the INVENTORY Module
23	REPORT The operator is allowed to log into the REPORT Module
24	Manage Attractions The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete ticketed attractions on the system
25	Manage Venues The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete venues on the system
26	Ticket Configuration The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete ticket formats on the system
27	Memberships / Discounts The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete memberships and discounts on the system
28	Customer Configuration The operator is allowed to create Customer Types, import Customer Records and perform Merge ‘n’ Purge Operations.
29	Create / Edit Packages The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete ticket packages on the system
30	Reprint / Revoke / Refund / Reissue Tix The operator is allowed access to the Reprint / Revoke / Refund / Reissue Tickets form in the ADMIN Module and MINI-ADMIN Module
31	Close Drawers The operator is allowed to close cash drawers in the ADMIN and MINI-ADMIN Modules
32	Diagnostics The operator is allowed to invoke the diagnostic procedures from the ADMIN Module.
33	Messaging The operator is allowed to invoke messaging functions from the ADMIN or INVENTORY Modules
34	Manage Receipt Layouts The operator is allowed to create / edit / delete receipt formats on the system
35	Browse Transactions / Live Activity Monitor The operator is allowed to view the Live Activity Monitor and browse transactions in the ADMIN and MINI-ADMIN Modules
36	Create / POS Menu The operator is allowed to invoke the Intelli-Menu Builder in the INVENTORY Module
37	Issue Purchase Orders The operator is allowed to issue Purchase Orders in the INVENTORY Module
38	Receive Inventory The operator is allowed to receive inventory in the INVENTORY Module
39	Can run Ticketing Reports The operator is allowed to run Ticketing Reports in the REPORT Module
