Memberships

You can create any number of Membership Types that you can sell or give away to customers. Customers that belong to a given membership type are granted discounts on merchandise and tickets, as defined for that membership type. The forms for creating and managing membership types look like this:

Using the List Window displayed above, you may create any number of Membership Types, to suit your specific needs. Double Click on an existing Membership to edit the record, or click on the ADD button to create a new one.

You can give your Membership Types any names that suit your fancy. In the example above, we have created a Membership Type called Platinum. Platinum membership costs $50.00, and is good for 1 year (365 days) from the date of purchase. If you wish, instead of a number of days, as in this example, you could put in a “Hard Expiration Date”, so that the Membership ceases to be valid on a specific date, such as the end of the year. You can set a color and image to be associated with the Membership Type for the POS buttons and such by clicking on the color palette.

Adding / Deleting Discounts for a Membership:

All of the Discounts assigned to this Membership type will appear in this list. In this simple example, there are only 2 discounts assigned to this Membership Type. You can double click on a listed discount to delete it. You can click on the button to ADD a Discount to the current Membership Type Record. In our illustration, the Platinum Membership grants a 10% Discount off Tickets, and a 10% Discount off Retail Items.

Adding / Deleting Over-Rides for a Membership:

All of the Over-rides assigned to this Membership type will appear in this list. In this simple example, there is only 1 Over-ride assigned to this Membership Type. You can double click on a listed over-ride to delete it. You can click on the button to ADD an Over-ride to the current Membership Type Record. In our illustration, the Platinum Membership grants an over-ride of the On Sale Date of the Abilene Christian Game, allowed members to buy tickets earlier than non members.
