Donation Types

Tick-It! Trak Pro, when purchased with the Fundraising Module, allows you to keep records on charitable donations. For the purposes of record keeping and processing, the Trak Pro system makes a clear distinction between donations of MONEY (either Cash, Check or Charge) and Other kinds of donations which do not involve money directly, but have some value. We refer to donations of stuff other than money as "IN-KIND" donations. Donations regarding MONEY must ALWAYS be processed through the POS Module, as some cashier is handling MONEY, which is fungible. However, you can make up as many kinds of OTHER donations as your organization tends to receive. They could be things such as LABOR or MATERIALS or ADVERTISING. Whatever you need. Your user defined donation types start with an ID of 2, since the ID of 1 is reserved for MONEY.

Using the List Window displayed above, you may create a limitless number of Donation Types, to suit your specific needs. Double Click on an existing Donation Type to edit it, or click on the ADD button to create a new one.

Donation Types can be assigned a NAME (Materials in the example above)
