You can get a breakdown of actual
validated attendance for any selected date in your schedule, in intervals as
short as 15 minutes! This reporting tool is essential for large, all day
attractions such as fairs, amusement parks, zoos, museums and trade shows.
Follow these simple steps to analyze your day’s attendance:
Select the starting time, ending time and reporting interval using the digital
clocks, as shown below:
The four primary control buttons run along the left hand side. They have the
following functions:
REFRESH DISPLAY:
This will cause the program to re-query and re-tabulate the report. Depending upon
your options and date range, this could take several minutes.
PRINT CURRENT DISPLAY:
This will print your report on the default printer, or whatever printer is
selected with the button detailed below.
SAVE AS EXCEL SPREADSHEET:
You can save this report as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for further processing and tabulating.
CLOSE REPORT FORM:
This exits the report generator form.
Click on the desired date for reporting on the calendar.
Click on the REFRESH DISPLAY button.
Depending upon the length of your season, how busy you have been, the size of
your database and the speed of your computer equipment, this report could take a
few minutes to generate.
Note that this is one of the few reporting features that is NOT based on a
Crystal Report. This set of tabulations is performed using internal, hard-coded
procedures in the program, and you cannot modify them externally.
A simple example report is shown below, with a time interval of one hour selected:
