WYSIWYG Format Editor

WYSIWYG is a common acronym for What You See Is What You Get. We have tried in version 3 of the software to improve the usability of our document editor, and to extend its capabilities far beyond the previous versions. The good news is that we have succeeded, and editing Tickets, Receipts, Charge Slips, Gift Certificates, ID Badges and Purchase Orders is better and easier than ever before. The bad news is that document format instructions from previous versions of Tick-It! Trak Pro are not compatible with version 3 and up.

The WYSIWYG document editor works for designing your Tickets, Receipts, Charge Slips, Gift Certificates, ID Badges and Purchase Orders, all with the same commands, and all with the same user interface. There is no need to learn multiple editors or instructions for different document types.

New for version 3 is the ability to create a SINGLE format that can be used on EITHER Windows driven printers or FGL driven printers.

The editor interface consists of 4 Primary Areas, and you can CLICK on the illustrations to learn more:

A "Document Element List" and View Control Side Panel on the right which looks like this:

A three tabbed "Document Viewport" that occupies the majority of the left side of the screen. This viewport is capable of displaying 3 different "views" of your document:

A DESIGN VIEW of your document, which allows you to manipulate print elements with your mouse

A SCRIPT VIEW of your document, which allows you to manipulate print elements via XML coding

A PREVIEW VIEW of your document, which allows you to see your document filled in with specific database information, as if it were actually being printed
